Leadpages
Landing page builder with templates, A/B testing and conversion tools
Leadpages is a drag-and-drop landing page builder that helps small businesses and marketers publish pages, capture leads and test offers.
Overview
Leadpages review
This Leadpages review covers what the landing page builder is used for, its features, the 2026 Leadpages pricing, how it compares with other landing page builders, and whether Leadpages is worth it. Leadpages started in 2012 as a tool to create landing pages for email list growth. In 2026 it was rebuilt into two connected products: HTML Pub, a low-cost publishing layer for simple pages and sites, and Leadpages itself, a conversion platform with A/B testing, AI traffic routing and lead enrichment on top. Every plan includes unlimited traffic, so there are no visitor overage fees.
What is Leadpages used for?
Leadpages is used to build landing pages for marketing campaigns: lead magnets such as ebooks and checklists, webinar sign-ups, product launches, paid-ads landing pages, thank-you pages and simple sales pages. Coaches, consultants, course creators and small businesses use it to grow an email list and generate leads without a developer. Marketing teams use the higher plans to run split tests on paid-traffic landing pages and push conversion rates up over time.
A typical flow: pick one of the landing page templates, change the copy and layout in the drag and drop builder, connect a form to your email service provider or CRM, and publish the new landing page on a Leadpages domain or your own custom domain. Leads flow to the connected tool automatically, and the lead magnet can be delivered by email.
Key features
- Drag and drop builder: a section-based editor for landing pages and simple sites, with mobile responsive layouts and a large library of landing page templates you can filter by goal or industry.
- Leadpages AI: AI credits on every plan to write copy, generate page sections and create variations. Credits refill monthly and can be topped up.
- Split testing: manual A/B tests on the Grow plan and above. Optimize adds Smart Traffic, which routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert, plus click and scroll heatmaps.
- Lead enrichment: Grow includes 2,000 IP resolutions a month, so you can see which companies visit your pages before anyone fills in a form (Leadpages vs Unbounce).
- Personalization: dynamic text replacement on Grow, and auto-personalization on Optimize and Scale.
- Integrations: among the Leadpages features that matter most, more than 200 connections, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Stripe and Shopify, so leads and payments reach the tools you already use.
- Publishing: custom domains with SSL, blogs on HTML Pub plans, and API access. Leadpages also offers an MCP connector to build pages from AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT.
Older Leadpages reviews also describe pop ups (Leadboxes), alert bars, one-click Leadlinks for email trigger links and LeadDigits text-message sign-ups. Those reviews predate the 2026 plans, so check the current feature list before you rely on them.
Leadpages templates and landing page creation
Leadpages offers a huge library of landing page templates for lead magnets, webinars, sales pages and thank-you pages. Templates are the fastest way to create landing pages that already follow a proven layout. You filter templates by goal or industry, pick one, and create landing pages in a few clicks: swap the headline and images, adjust the layout, and connect the form. For example, a coach can publish a new landing page for a free guide in an afternoon, connect it to Mailchimp, and have Leadpages automatically send the guide to new subscribers. Leadpages integrates with email marketing tools, CRMs and payment tools, so online sales and sign-ups reach the systems your team already uses. The same builder creates simple multi-page sites, so a small business can run its website and its campaign pages on one platform.
Leadpages pricing
Leadpages pricing changed with the 2026 rebuild. According to the Leadpages pricing page (September 2026), there are two product lines, and annual billing saves about 20%.
HTML Pub, the publishing layer:
- Starter: about $10 a month. 5 pages, 1 custom domain and 4,000 AI credits a month.
- Pro: about $29 a month. 25 pages, a blog, 5 GB storage, 12,000 AI credits and API access.
- Business: about $49 a month. 50 pages, 2 custom domains, 2 blogs and 20,000 AI credits.
Leadpages, publishing plus conversion tools:
- Grow: $99 a month. Unlimited pages, 4 custom domains, manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, lead enrichment and 40,000 AI credits.
- Optimize: $199 a month. Smart Traffic, heatmaps, auto-personalization, 6 custom domains, 80,000 AI credits and 5 active integrations.
- Scale: $399 a month. A full auto-optimization loop, 10 custom domains, 25 integrations, 10 team seats and 160,000 AI credits.
There is no free plan. A 7-day free trial gives full access, and you can cancel from your account settings. The page showed euro prices from our location (€10 to €399); the dollar figures above come from Leadpages' own comparison page and third-party price trackers.
The cost surprise to check is where A/B testing starts. HTML Pub plans do not include A/B testing, so the first plan with split tests on your landing pages is Grow at $99 a month, and Smart Traffic needs Optimize. AI credits are metered per month too: heavy use of AI copy and page generation can mean top-ups. Traffic, on the other hand, is unlimited on every plan.
Leadpages vs Unbounce: landing page features compared
Unbounce is the landing page builder most often compared with Leadpages. Both let you create landing pages with a drag and drop builder and templates, and both offer split tests and AI traffic routing. Unbounce's own comparison page still lists Leadpages' old Standard plan at $49 a month; that plan no longer exists after the 2026 rebuild, and Leadpages' current entry plan with A/B testing is Grow. Leadpages says Smart Traffic starts at $199 a month on its Optimize plan against $249 a month on Unbounce. Pick Unbounce if your agency already runs on it; pick Leadpages if unlimited traffic and lead enrichment matter more. Both vendors' comparison pages are marketing material, so trial both on a real campaign.
Where Leadpages shines — and where it falls short
Strengths:
- Fast landing page creation with Leadpages templates for most marketing campaigns.
- Unlimited traffic on every plan, with no visitor metering.
- Split tests, Smart Traffic and heatmaps in one platform, next to the landing pages themselves.
- Lead enrichment that shows which companies visit.
- More than 200 integrations with email, CRM and payment tools.
Trade-offs:
- No free plan, and A/B testing starts at $99 a month.
- The 2026 rebuild changed plans and names, so older tutorials and reviews are out of date.
- Design freedom is lower than in a full website builder.
- AI credits are capped per month.
How Leadpages compares
- Unbounce: the closest competitor, strong on AI optimization for agencies and paid ads.
- Instapage: landing pages for ad teams, with visitor-based pricing.
- Landingi: a lower-cost landing page builder with many templates.
- Carrd: very cheap one-page sites without A/B testing.
- Webflow and Framer: full website builders with more design control.
- WordPress: self-hosted sites with page-builder plugins.
- Mailchimp and GetResponse: email platforms with basic landing pages built in.
Is Leadpages worth it?
Leadpages is worth it for small businesses, coaches and marketers who need to publish landing pages quickly, grow an email list and test offers without a developer. Unlimited traffic makes costs predictable, and Grow bundles A/B testing and lead enrichment at $99 a month. For users who want more leads from paid traffic, the advanced features on Optimize and Scale add AI routing and personalization for each audience. It is less of a fit if you only need one simple page, where HTML Pub, Carrd or your email tool's page builder costs less, or if you need a full website with complex design. If you want help building high converting landing pages or connecting Leadpages to your CRM, the marketing agencies and developers on LowCodeDevs can take it on.
