Super is a website builder that publishes Notion pages as fast, SEO-ready websites for creators, startups and documentation sites.

Overview

Super review

This super.so review covers what Super is used for, its key features, Super pricing, how it compares with Notion Sites, where it shines and falls short, and the tools worth comparing it with. Super takes a public Notion page and serves it as a real website: you keep writing in Notion, and Super handles the domain, design, SEO and hosting. Your content lives in Notion, so users have no second editor to learn and no database to manage. Edits in Notion show up on the site after Super syncs them. According to Super's own site, more than 100,000 creators have used it.

What is Super used for?

Super is used to create websites where the content already sits in Notion, or where the team would rather write in Notion than in a website builder. Common examples for users and businesses are personal sites and portfolios, blogs, startup landing pages, product documentation sites, a knowledge base or help center, job boards, and public roadmaps. Super's own showcase includes the Raycast Manual, Rainbow and the Strapi Handbook, all built on Notion pages.

Businesses and solo users like it because the whole team can already edit Notion. A marketer or founder can update a page without a developer, and the site keeps a consistent layout, brand colors and fonts. For larger sites, Super adds navigation, search and multi-language support, so a Notion doc can grow into a professional website with dozens of pages.

Key features

  • Notion as the CMS: paste the link of a public Notion page and Super builds the site from it, including sub-pages, databases, galleries and images. The content stays in Notion.
  • Custom domain: connect your own domain on paid plans; the free plan runs on a super.site subdomain.
  • Design and branding: themes, custom fonts, font sizes, colors, a navbar and footer, and templates that go beyond Notion's default look. For more customization you can add custom code, such as CSS and JavaScript.
  • SEO: automatic and customizable meta tags and structured data, responsive pages and fast loading, so search engines can index the site properly.
  • Password protection: lock individual pages or the whole site on paid plans, which helps for client portals or internal docs.
  • Analytics: a built-in analytics add-on shows visitors and page views, and you can also connect Google Analytics or other analytics tools through custom code.
  • Advanced search and multi-language: the Pro plan adds site search, file uploads, redirects, hidden pages and multi-language sites.
  • Teams: a paid add-on for collaboration, roles, site transfers and team billing.

Super pricing

Super is priced per site. The plans below come from the Super pricing page as of September 2026.

  • Free: $0 forever. A super.site subdomain, theme customization, customer support and a "Made with Super" badge.
  • Personal: $16 per month, or $144 a year. Adds a custom domain, custom code, password-protected pages, custom fonts, RSS feeds and removes the badge.
  • Pro: $28 per month. Adds manual publishing, advanced search, file uploads, redirects and hidden pages, multi-language support and priority support.
  • Custom: from $50 plus setup fees. Sub-path hosting, Notion workspace optimization, single sign-on, a custom site design and a shared Slack channel.

Two add-ons are billed separately. Analytics starts at $10 a month for up to 10,000 monthly views and rises by traffic, up to $400 a month for 20 million views or more. Teams cost $5 per member per month or $50 a year.

The cost surprise to check is that pricing is per site, and analytics and team seats are extra. Three sites on the Personal plan with analytics cost well over $50 a month. Older reviews and Super's own older blog posts mention a $12 "Plus" plan; the current pricing page lists Personal at $16.

Super vs Notion Sites: publishing a Notion page as a website

Notion can publish pages as websites on its own through Notion Sites, so the question is what Super adds. According to Super's comparison, connecting a custom domain in Notion costs about $18 per month per seat: a $10 plan plus $8 for the domain. Notion Sites keeps Notion's standard look and offers basic workspace analytics. Super adds its own themes and fonts, a navbar and footer, custom code, customizable meta tags and structured data, password protection, control over when updates go live, and visitor analytics. If a plain Notion page on your own domain is enough, Notion Sites is simpler; if the site needs to look like your brand and rank in search, Super is the stronger tool.

Getting started with the Super website builder

Create or choose a Notion page and share it publicly. Paste its link into Super, pick one of the templates or a theme, and Super creates the site in minutes. For a knowledge base, start from a documentation template so the navigation and search are already in place. Then set the navigation, fonts and colors in the site settings, add meta tags for SEO, and connect your own domain once you move to a paid plan. Keep the Notion workspace organized, because the page structure in Notion becomes the site structure. For large-scale websites, use Notion databases for collections such as blog posts or docs, so pages stay consistent.

Performance, SEO and customer support

Super says its pages are optimized for performance on desktop and mobile: the site loads fast, and fast pages help keep bounce rates down and rank better on Google. For SEO optimization, each page gets meta tags and structured data that search engines can read, and you can manage titles and descriptions per page in the site settings. Pages are served over HTTPS, and password protection adds a layer of security for private content. Super says its customer support is run by people rather than bots; support is included on every plan, and Pro adds priority support. Advanced features such as redirects, hidden pages and multi-language support help when a site grows.

Where Super shines — and where it falls short

Strengths:

  • Publishing a site straight from Notion, with no second editor for the team.
  • Clean, fast and responsive pages with good SEO features out of the box, which makes Super a strong alternative to building a professional website from scratch.
  • A free plan to test all core features, and low prices for a single site.
  • Custom code, password protection and multi-language support for more advanced sites.

Trade-offs:

  • Design is limited to what Notion blocks and Super's templates allow; pixel-perfect layouts need custom code, and control over the layout stays more limited than in a full web design tool.
  • Pricing is per site, and analytics and team seats cost extra.
  • Changes depend on Notion syncing, so updates are not always instant.
  • No membership sites or e-commerce built in; those need other tools.

How Super compares

  • Notion: Notion Sites publishes pages directly, with less design control and a per-seat domain fee.
  • Carrd: very cheap one-page sites, built in its own editor rather than Notion.
  • Framer: full design freedom and animations, with a CMS of its own.
  • Webflow: professional websites with a powerful CMS and more design features, for businesses that need full customization.
  • Softr: apps and portals on top of Airtable or databases, with user logins.
  • Ghost: a publishing platform for blogs and newsletters with built-in memberships.

Is Super worth it?

Super is worth it for creators, startups and teams that already write in Notion and want a fast, good-looking website without building one from scratch. The free plan is enough to test, and the Personal plan covers most single sites with a custom domain. It is less of a fit when you need complex design, memberships or a store, or when you run many sites and the per-site price adds up. If you want help building a website or moving a Notion site to a bigger platform, the web agencies and developers on LowCodeDevs can take it on.
